The LSV-series fluid level switches use a float and reed design to provide a robust means of detecting the level of a fluid in a tank. These vertical float switches can be used for a multitude of applications that require a discrete input signal. They can drive low current loads such as relays, indicator lights, and buzzers or can feed inputs to a programmable logic controller (PLC), relay logic system or other equivalent controls systems. They can also easily be adjusted to provide either NO or NC switch action. The LSV-series stainless steel switches come in a wide range of lengths (ranging from 2 in to 32 in, in 2 in increments) and can be equipped with a stainless steel float or a buna float depending on the fluid density (use buna for lower density fluids such as fuels). These switches can also come with a standard top mount M10 bolt or can be equipped with a flange. They can also connect to your system using an M12 micro connector or a 10 ft pigtail. It is recommended to always use a timer relay with these switches to eliminate any fluctuations in the signal due to liquid level fluctuations.
